The bulgarian company "PLANTABUL" Ltd., located at 21 Kaliakra Street, Shumen, was established in 1996 with the conception of processing and export of wild medicinal plants. Later cultivated and essential-oily plants were introduced in the industrial process parallel with wild medicinal plants. Because of the seasonal character of herbs and aiming at providing all people, involved in herb processing, with permanent jobs, the company enlarged its production taking up preparation of walnuts in shell and walnut kernels.
   "PLANTABUL" Ltd. purchases walnuts in shell and walnut kernels from all over the country. Their preparation takes place in a factory, reconstructed according to the European standards and situated in Shumen. Drying, sifting and sorting into fractions is carried out there. Walnut kernels are packed and palletized as required by the clients.
